We Understand Your Situation
Many of our clients have aging parents and want to ensure their well-being, while at the same time wanting to protect assets so their children will be provided for later on. We have personal and legal experience in these matters, and are empathetic to our clients’ situations.
The founding attorney of our firm, Bruce Peotter, was raised in a family where the entrepreneurial spirit was highly valued. He spent two years as the Assistant Public Administrator/Public Guardian for the County of Orange. In that role Bruce was able to see the negative impact on people and families caused by the failure to plan their estates properly. Too often, he saw families struggle with providing proper care and service to their family members in need. He has seen the benefit first hand in eliminating the need for government involvement in handling the affairs of estates. No one knows better than you how your estate should be administered and who should care for your family.
More recently, when his own mother and father needed care and passed away, Bruce personally dealt with the same issues families with elder loved ones deal with our clients face on a daily basis.
Bruce’s life experiences fuel his passion and commitment to assisting families in protecting assets and providing for the care of older and younger generations. From drafting wills and setting up trust funds, he is devoted to serving his clients’ interests.

Total Family Trust Plan Process
After careful analysis of each client’s current family and financial situation, and after developing an understanding of the client’s estate planning goals and objectives, we develop the estate planning strategies that we feel would best achieve those goals and objectives. After the client thoroughly understands the strategies and planning that we are recommending, we then draft the appropriate estate planning documents for the client’s review. Before implementing the documents, we meet with the client to review the documents together and make sure that the client thoroughly understands key provisions in the estate plan. After the documents have been executed, we then assist that client with the re-titling process to make sure that the trusts that were created are properly funded. The clients are then entered into our data base and are kept informed of any future changes in the law that might affect their estate plan.
Fees & Costs
At Law Office of Bruce Peotter, we believe that everyone is entitled to quality legal services for a reasonable price. We feel that most of our clients prefer a flat fixed fee rather than hourly fees. As such, in most cases, after the free initial client conference, we will often quote a flat fee to perform the work and implement the estate plan or administer the estate or trust. However, because of the complexity of certain matters, and perhaps the uncertainty as to the outcome, we offer reasonable hourly rates. In either event, all of our clients engage our firm by executing a Fee Agreement that outlines the work to be performed and clearly establishes the fees that will be incurred.
